| PASSPORTS
• Passport Applications are available in the Clerk’s Office. Applications can be taken Tueday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pleas allow approximately 15 minutes per each application to be properly completed.
• Fees are as follows: for persons of 16 years of age and older, the fee is a total of $97.00 ($67 made payable to the U.S. Department of State by check or money order and $30 made payable to the City of Chicago Heights by cash, money order or Visa/MasterCard). For persons of 15 years of age and younger, the fee is a total of $82.00 ($52 made payable to the U.S. Department of State by check or money order and $30 made payable to the City of Chicago Heights by cash, money order or Visa/MasterCard).
• Expedited fees are also available for an additional fee
of $60.00 fee per each application submitted.
• The following documentation is needed for each passport application submitted: Two (2) color photos of the applicant (2’x2’ inches in diameter), a certified copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and a valid Driver’s License or State Photo I.D. card.
• Please allow 10-12 weeks for the passport application to be processed by the U.S. Department of State.
