| GARAGE SALE PERMITS
Printable Garage Sale Permit Form
• All residential areas in Chicago Heights must be licensed
to conduct a garage sale. Two advertising signs are permitted to
be displayed on the property where the sale is being conducted.
Two directional signs are also permitted. However, permission is
required from the property owners in which the directional signs
are being displayed. All sales must end by the end of daylight and
all signs must be removed.
• The license fee is $6.00 for two consecutive days. A rain
day will be given if it rains on the date of the sale, but you must
contact the Clerk’s Office and reschedule your date with the
license clerk. No more than two garage sale permits may be issued
to one residence during any calendar year.
